A Nintendo eShop gift card is how Kenyan Switch owners top up for games without an international card. You pay with M-Pesa, the code arrives by email in seconds, and it adds credit for anything on the eShop. One rule matters most: the region. Here is everything you need.

What Nintendo eShop credit buys

eShop credit pays for Switch games, DLC and Nintendo Switch Online memberships. It is the easy top-up for any Nintendo Switch owner in Kenya.

Important: match the region

Nintendo eShop cards are region-specific. A US eShop card only redeems on a Nintendo Account set to the United States. Before you buy, make sure your Nintendo Account region is set to US (or set it before redeeming). Buy the region that matches your account and you will have no trouble.

How to buy a Nintendo eShop card with M-Pesa

Open the Nintendo eShop gift card page on iTey Store and pick your amount (from KSh 2,750).
Pay with M-Pesa — Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer also work.
Your code is emailed to you within seconds.

How to redeem on your Switch

On your Switch: HOME → Nintendo eShop → tap your profile → "Redeem Code", then enter the 16-character code.
Or online: visit ec.nintendo.com/redeem while signed in to your US-region Nintendo Account.
The credit is added to your account, ready to spend on games and DLC.

Troubleshooting

"Code can't be redeemed": almost always a region mismatch — the card and your Nintendo Account region must both be the United States.
Code already used: eShop codes are single-use. Redeem immediately and keep the code private.
